You know it’s spring in Istanbul when the tulips are blooming and the storks are nesting in the Gulhane (‘Rose Park’) Gardens in Istanbul. The carpet sellers were in high gear; I couldn’t walk twenty feet without being assailed by the same pick up lines. But it’s still a lovely time of year to be here. Here are some images from today.
